Computer Repair Shops

I work at a local computer repair shop in Massachusetts, doing repair and onsite desktop support. If a computer came into our shop and we found out the IDE cable was loose we wouldn't have charged anything. I find it sad that out of 8 places in the video it was what, two, places that properly diagnosed the issue and fixed it. Fry's, BestBuy, CompUSA are all a bunch of crooks. A local news station here in Phoenix did the same type of test where they had pulled the video card out just a wee bit and out like 10+ places only 3 properly fixed it. Again the big name brand places tried to charge hundreds of $'s for a simple repair or said something else was the issue. It's hard to find honest people these days.
